Logic and Epistemology

The section provides a forum for work at the crossroads of logic and epistemology. Till the 19th century logical problems were closely linked with epistemological questions.  After that, in the 20th century, they left each other for a while, but now we are witnessing the restoration of their collaboration: both disciplines are ready to work together. The current situation is not a return to the past. On the contrary, it is a new research platform, which is based on recent revolutionary changes of both logic and epistemology. We invite papers in all of the traditional areas of logic and epistemology, including but not limited to: philosophical logic, philosophy of logic, formal philosophy, philosophy of information, evolutionary epistemology, formal or Bayesian epistemology, philosophical issues of cognitive science, etc. Since philosophical researches often presume addressing the past, we also gather academic contributions on history. Finally, we publish actual translations of either logic or epistemology classics with commentaries of translators.
